The sound is loud enough and the tone quality is good, I believe. It is a bit difficult for me to generate sound by sliding around the edge of the bowl with the stick, however, I believe it will come with practice.:)
The only thing I didn't like is some scratches in the inner part of the edge of the bowl that I cannot remove with water Otherwise, it is perfect! Thank you for a quality product!
